The company's website and social media platforms made therapeutic claims for products including "Snoop's Chews CBD Dog Treats," "Eli's Drops CBD Tincture for Cats," and human CBD products, promoting them to mitigate, prevent, treat, diagnose, or cure COVID-19 and other conditions. Additionally, the human CBD products were deemed misbranded drugs under section 502(f)(1) of the FD&C Act. The Center for Veterinary Medicine identified these violations through FDA's May 2022 review of the company's websites and social media channels.
