TL State Management, Inc., a food importer based in Brooklyn, NY, failed to comply with the Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) requirements for multiple imported food products including pickled red tomatoes, puff pastry dough, and wafers. The company did not develop, maintain, or follow any FSVP for the foods it imported, violating section 805 of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and 21 CFR part 1, subpart L. The FDA also noted that the company did not respond to a Form FDA 483a FSVP Observations issued on April 18, 2022, following an inspection conducted between March 21 and April 18, 2022.
