Titans Global Inc., a food importer based in California, failed to establish and maintain a Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) for any of its imported food products, including cake, dried plums, chili paste, and instant noodles, in violation of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. During inspections conducted in May 2021 and July-August 2022, the FDA found the company had not developed required risk-based verification activities to ensure imported foods met U.S. food safety standards as mandated by 21 CFR Part 1, Subpart L. The company also failed to respond to the FDA's Form 483a observations issued at the conclusion of the most recent inspection on August 2, 2022.
