Dollar Tree, Inc.'s Family Dollar Distribution Center in West Memphis, Arkansas was found to have distributed adulterated human foods and dietary supplements to 404 retail locations due to the presence of rodents and rodent activity at the facility between January 2021 and March 2022. The distribution center violated the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act by holding and shipping contaminated products in interstate commerce without adequate pest control measures. Dollar Tree initiated a voluntary recall of affected products following FDA inspection in January-February 2022 and stated plans to permanently close the facility in response to the violations.
