Land View, Inc., a medicated feed manufacturer in Idaho, was cited for significant violations of Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) regulations under 21 CFR Parts 507 and 225, as well as failure to comply with Veterinary Feed Directive (VFD) drug requirements under 21 CFR Part 558.6, which rendered their products adulterated and unsafe. An FDA inspection conducted in June 2022 found the facility failed to implement adequate hazard analysis and risk-based preventive controls for animal food, and did not properly manage VFD feed labeling and safety requirements. These violations resulted in the company's medicated feed products being deemed adulterated and misbranded under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.
