Latin Foods Market distributed an unapproved new drug product called "Artri King Reforzado con Ortiga y Omega 3" through its website in violation of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. FDA laboratory analysis found that the product contained undeclared active pharmaceutical ingredients—diclofenac (an NSAID) and dexamethasone (a corticosteroid)—that were not listed on the label, creating serious health risks including cardiovascular events, gastrointestinal damage, adrenal suppression, and dangerous drug interactions. The product was also misbranded because the hidden ingredients and their associated safety risks were not disclosed to consumers.
