F1 Foods Inc., a ready-to-eat prepared foods processor in Massachusetts that manufactures seafood and acidified food products, violated multiple federal food safety regulations including Seafood HACCP (21 CFR Part 123), Acidified Foods (21 CFR Part 114), CGMP & Preventive Controls (21 CFR Part 117), and Emergency Permit Control (21 CFR Part 108) requirements. During an FDA inspection conducted from July 18 through August 15, 2023, investigators documented serious deviations and determined that the facility's products were adulterated because they were prepared, packed, or held under insanitary conditions that may have resulted in contamination with filth or rendered them injurious to health. The facility's non-compliance with critical control point monitoring and good manufacturing practices for both seafood and acidified foods processing posed significant food safety risks.
