During a January-March 2024 inspection, FDA investigators documented gray sludge of unknown origin falling from the sprinkler system onto growing sprouts, and observed rodent excreta pellets in the packaging room where ready-to-eat product materials were stored. The company's proposed corrective actions were deemed inadequate, as they failed to address prevention of future contamination and had already introduced contaminated sprouts into commerce on February 2, 2024, despite the violations being observed on January 31, 2024.
