VHRK Food Inc., a food and beverage importer, failed to comply with Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) requirements under 21 CFR Part 1 Subpart L during FDA inspections conducted in January-February 2021 and August 2021. The company did not perform adequate risk-based verification activities to ensure that imported foods met applicable U.S. food safety standards, and could not provide specific documentation demonstrating implementation of corrective actions despite promising vendor notifications and record-keeping measures in their response. The Division of Northern Border Imports issued this warning based on the significant violations found during the most recent inspection.
