Ng Zheng Inc. DBA Kwan Sang Noodle Company was cited for manufacturing ready-to-eat egg, flour, and fried noodle products and not-ready-to-eat wonton, egg roll, and dumpling wrapper products under insanitary conditions that may have resulted in contamination with filth or rendered them injurious to health. The inspection (September–October 2023) found significant violations of Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) and Hazard Analysis and Risk-Based Preventive Controls requirements under 21 CFR Part 117, including failure to implement required preventive controls and failure to register the facility as mandated by FDA regulations. The facility's noodle and wrapper products were determined to be adulterated under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act due to the insanitary manufacturing conditions.
