Lizard Juice LLC d/b/a New Age Distribution, a manufacturer and distributor of e-liquid products containing nicotine, was found to be in violation of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and FDA tobacco product regulations. The company failed to comply with FDA requirements applicable to tobacco products, including the requirement to obtain premarket authorization for "new tobacco products" before legal marketing in the United States. This enforcement action occurred following FDA's March 2022 expansion of tobacco product jurisdiction to include all products containing nicotine from any source, not just tobacco-derived nicotine.
