Everything Health LLC sold an unapproved new drug called "CoronaBox" that was marketed to mitigate, prevent, treat, diagnose, or cure COVID-19, violating section 505(a) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. The product was also misbranded under section 502 of the FD&C Act and illegally introduced into interstate commerce through the company's website and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter). The FDA and FTC coordinated enforcement in response to the national public health emergency declared on March 13, 2020, to protect consumers from unauthorized COVID-19 treatment claims.
