Country Favor Inc., a food and beverage importer, failed to comply with the Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) regulation as required under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. During a February 2025 follow-up inspection, FDA found that the company did not develop, maintain, or follow an FSVP for any of the foods imported from its foreign suppliers, representing a significant violation of 21 CFR part 1, subpart L. The company's non-compliance was particularly serious given that it had also failed to respond to FDA observations from the initial June-July 2023 inspection, as well as the subsequent February 2025 inspection.
