US Chem Labs was cited for selling unapproved drugs—Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, and Thymalin—through its website in violation of sections 505(a) and 301(d) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. Despite labeling these products as "research chemicals only" and "not for human consumption," FDA found evidence on the company's website establishing they were intended for human use, including claims about FDA approval and therapeutic benefits for weight loss and diabetes management. The products were also found to be misbranded under section 502 of the FD&C Act. The violations were identified during an FDA review of the company's website in October 2023.
