Kraft Drug was warned for manufacturing and distributing unapproved veterinary antimicrobial drugs (including amoxicillin, azithromycin, ciprofloxacin, doxycycline, and other medically important antibiotics) intended for use in aquarium fish and birds through their website. The products violated the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act because they were not drug-listed with FDA, were not manufactured in an FDA-registered facility, and lacked required drug approvals despite claims establishing their intended use for treating diseases in animals.
