Longford Water Company LLC was cited for serious violations of bottled drinking water processing and bottling regulations at its Kansas facility during an FDA inspection in March 2025, rendering its bottled water products adulterated. The company failed to ensure effective water treatment using required parameters, could not demonstrate that its sanitation process accomplished its intended purpose, and did not maintain adequate performance records for its water treatment system as mandated by 21 CFR 129.80(a). These violations created conditions whereby the bottled water products may have become contaminated with filth or rendered injurious to health.
