The facility failed to implement corrective actions when cooking times fell below critical limits—specifically cooking crabmeat batches below the established critical limit without taking any preventive measures—and distributed the non-compliant product to the U.S. market. The company also failed to maintain adequate hazard analysis documentation for its seafood products as required under 21 CFR Part 123. The violations were identified during a remote regulatory assessment conducted in September 2023.
