Talla Imports, LLC, an importer of food and beverages including chocolate toffee, gingerbread cookies, and fruit candy sticks from Sweden, failed to develop, maintain, and follow a Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) as required by the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and FDA regulations. During an inspection conducted from November 20 to December 16, 2024, investigators found that the company had not established an FSVP for any of the foods it imported, representing a significant violation of 21 CFR part 1, subpart L. The company did not respond to the FDA 483a observations issued at the conclusion of the inspection.
