Radhaswamy Inc. dba Raja Foods LLC, a food and beverage importer, failed to comply with the Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) regulation requirements under section 805 of the FD&C Act. During a follow-up FSVP inspection conducted in August 2024, the FDA identified significant violations related to the company's failure to perform adequate risk-based verification activities for foods imported from foreign suppliers to ensure compliance with U.S. food safety standards. The company did not respond to the FDA 483a observations issued on August 12, 2024, and similarly failed to provide required FSVP documentation in response to a previous FDA 483a from March 2023, despite being given 30 working days to comply.
