Fella Group LLC, a food and beverage importer, failed to comply with Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) requirements under section 805 of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. During inspections conducted in July 2020 and December 2021, the FDA found that the company did not develop, maintain, and follow an FSVP plan for its imported food products. Despite previous inspection findings and a corrective action deadline of July 31, 2021, the company failed to provide adequate corrective actions or sufficient FSVP documentation, instead submitting another extended timeline extending to December 2022.
