MG GROUP USA, a food and beverage importer located in Harrison, NY, failed to comply with Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) requirements under section 805 of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. The company did not develop, maintain, or follow an FSVP for any of the foods it imported, including white truffle olive oil and fresh summer truffles from foreign suppliers, despite multiple FDA inspections conducted between February 2023 and August 2025. Despite receiving FDA Form 483a observations and providing a response, the company failed to submit documentation demonstrating compliance or evidence of developing FSVPs for any of its imported food products.
