Asli Foods, Inc, an importer of food products including chocolate, herbal tea, and prepared foods, failed to develop, maintain, and follow a Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) as required by section 805 of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and 21 CFR part 1, subpart L. During inspections conducted in January and October 2025, the FDA found that the company had not established an FSVP for any of the foods it imported, including products sourced from multiple foreign suppliers. The company did not respond to the Form FDA 483a FSVP Observations issued on October 23, 2025, compounding the compliance violations.
