Maui Seafood LLC, a ready-to-eat seafood processor in Las Vegas, was cited for serious violations of seafood HACCP regulations and insanitary processing conditions that rendered their refrigerated tuna and salmon products adulterated. FDA inspectors collected environmental samples from the facility between April 28 and May 16, 2025, and detected Listeria monocytogenes—a human pathogen—in multiple areas of the production environment. The company failed to implement and maintain a compliant HACCP plan as required under 21 CFR Part 123, and operated under conditions where products could become contaminated with filth or rendered injurious to health.
