Eden F&C Co., Ltd, a South Korean seafood processor, was found to have serious violations of seafood Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) regulations during an FDA inspection of their ready-to-eat seafood-containing corn dog processing facility on April 26, 2024. The company failed to have and implement a compliant HACCP plan as required under 21 CFR Part 123, rendering their products adulterated under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act. Although the firm submitted revised HACCP plans and implementation records in response to the initial FDA-483 observations, the FDA determined that its continuing concerns about the facility's compliance remained unresolved.
