MaxLife Technologies Inc. offered compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide products on its website with false or misleading claims in violation of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act sections 502(a) and 502(bb). The company falsely represented itself as the compounder of these drugs when it was not, and made unsubstantiated claims that the products were "FDA-approved" and "clinically tested" for weight management, misleadingly suggesting equivalence to FDA-approved branded alternatives like Ozempic®, Wegovy®, and Mounjaro®. These misbranded compounded drug products were introduced into interstate commerce through the company's website promotion in December 2025.
