J-Vapor LLC dba North Shore Vapor was warned that its e-liquid products offered for sale on its website were unapproved tobacco products subject to FDA jurisdiction under the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act. The company failed to obtain premarket authorization orders required for "new tobacco products" that were not commercially marketed in the United States as of February 15, 2007. The products were also found to be adulterated and misbranded, lacking required compliance with FDA regulations governing tobacco product marketing and distribution.
