Little House Vapes, LLC was warned for manufacturing and selling e-liquid tobacco products without required premarket authorization orders, in violation of the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act. The FDA determined that e-liquids sold through the company's website were deemed tobacco products subject to FDA jurisdiction as of August 8, 2016, and therefore required marketing authorization under section 910 of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act before being legally sold in the United States. The company had failed to obtain the necessary premarket approval for these "new tobacco products" prior to distribution.
