American Smoking Cessation Corp d/b/a Yeti Vape was warned for manufacturing and distributing e-liquid tobacco products without required premarket authorization under the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act. The company's e-liquid products, classified as electronic nicotine delivery system components under FDA jurisdiction since the August 8, 2016 deeming rule, were found to be in violation of Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act requirements for new tobacco products. The FDA determined that these products lacked the mandated premarket approval needed for commercial distribution in the United States.
