Lynda's Legacy LLC d/b/a Chaney's Tobacco Station was found to manufacture and distribute e-liquid products without required premarket authorization, violating the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act. The company failed to comply with FDA requirements for "new tobacco products" under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, as e-liquids containing nicotine are regulated as tobacco products subject to FDA jurisdiction since the August 2016 deeming rule. The warning was issued after FDA review of the company's submissions and inspection records determined the products were being offered for sale or distribution in the United States without proper authorization.
